Different Colored Headlights?

Again, '94 P10. The previous owner installed new (US DOT) headlight
assemblies at some time during his 8-ish month ownership period. I
decided to install Silverstar bulbs, which he had actually half-done.
The weird part is that the driver headlight shines a clean, almost
blue-ish light, while the passenger headlight has a dimmer, nearly
pink tone.

Finding a place to aim the headlights has proven to be harder than it
sounds (find a long, flat, level place with a white wall at least 8'
high and 10' wide; point the car perpendicular to this wall in the
dark...from 100' away). Will aiming do anything at all? Is aiming
the only thing I can do, or is there another opto-chemical reason for
my problem?

This is a signature placeholder, because I'm out of quippy things to attach.
