I'm sure it'll fit, but a 302 also fits in a miata; except, the monster miata
conversion has already been done.  You could be the first to fit a SR into
a lancer.  You'd have to figure out the electronics, tranny, motor mounts,
power steering, a/c, etc on your own.  By that time, might as well sell the
lancer and buy an evo 8.
