G20 fuel problems

Well, I doubt you have the same problem I did, but I recently had very
similar symptoms.  Turns out my timing chain skipped a tooth and it
caused very rich running to where the car wouldn't start normally and
there was a strong fuel odor.
You might be able to check for the problem by rotating your distributor
like I did -- experiment with different positions.  The only way I
could get my car to run somewhat normally was to rotate the distributor
as far as it would go one way -- can't remember for sure but I think it
was rotated toward the radiator.
