I sent Chris an email along these lines this morning.

I'd also like to add "sorry" wasn't able to make the convention this year.
We just had our 3rd son, and I just couldn't swing the time and $ to go this
year.  Can't wait to see you all next year!!

And I for one am proud to be a member of such a community of great people!
