Well, I'm really glad I could be entertaining!  I was hoping someone
who really knew something would step up to the plate and give
us the really geeky explanation.  I also missed where the original
poster said it was a boosted car..  Go figure.

My experience was merely anecdotal, the Techron worked
for my NA car, when I had checked everything else, and tried
retarding the timing.
