This is definitely a YMMV issue.  It depends on how many
miles you put on not how many years and the type of roads
you encounter.

My AGX's with prokits where blown after 30K I'm sure they
blew much before that but I never replaced them until
recently.

I pulled an AGX from my turbo car recently and its seen
less then 2,000 miles and I think it is already blown.
This is with 300in-lb GC's.
