When the say new, do they mean out of the box new or refurbished? You need
to be wary of refurb compressors as the seals often are not as strong as new
ones.

Would it be worth it to scoop up a cheap new A/C compressor (there's one on
ebay right now) or do I need to purchase a different style compressor?  I'm
assuming the conversion is worth it. A dealer quoted me $140 for a freon
recharge.
