Why would keeping the strut towers aligned, preventing unregulated spindle
angle motion be bad?  I *think* that when you corner hard, the outside
strut tower comes inward, which *could* help to keep a square footprint on
the tarmac.  I also *think,* though, that a better driver who actually
knows what his/her front suspension is doing would be in better shape to
drive faster than a driver with a weak front suspension randomly bobbing
in and out.  Dunno; never tried it.  I'd like to hear some anecdotal
evidence, though.
