Yep. EFI332 isn't a cheap solution like Megasquirt. The hardware alone costs
more than JWT. I doubt you can even get a EFI332 board anymore, they are
becoming rare beasts. I never calculated the value of the time invested, and
I probably never will. I don't even have a good explanation for why I bother
with it. I just enjoy the work and EFI has always been a puzzle I wanted to
understand better. I suppose I could read a few books, but what fun would
that be when I can experiment on a real engine?

For those of you interested in the MegaSquirt, there is something called
MegaJoltLight that uses Ford EDIS modules for fully programmable ignition
(http://www.bgsoflex.com/mjl/mjl_edis.html). The combo of these two would
allow you to run a SER. You should be able to find all of the parts from
Newark or Digikey.
