Nah, they'll be OK;  they'll just look crappy.   Remember, they have to
survive the weather up with the poor schmucks in the Rust Belt.  Cast iron
(the calipers) will rapidly develop surface rust, but it takes a long time
to penetrate.  The piston itself is either stainless steel or chrome plated.
