stripped crossmember bolts

anyone had a problem with stripping out crossmember
bolts that hold it on to the subframe and radiator
support?  get 4 grade 8, 3 inch 7/16-14 bolts, a
tap(7/16-14), find some steel sleeves that fit over
them to imitate the stock bolts, and some 1" washers.
you get the idea.  all the holes are real easy to tap.
 not like it makes a big performance deal, but it
gives incredible peace of mind knowing you can really
rage on you car now.
