So he's nuts but that doesn't mean anything.  4th gear pulls to
about 140 I think.  If he banged the rev limiter in 5th from
a pull at 60mph starting out in 5th then thats different.  With a
turbo car I doubt it takes very long to hit the
rev-limiter in 5th.  I know I can get up to speed real
quick, 60-120 takes probably 20 seconds or less w/o downshifting to 4th.

If you want to sacrifice realibity for cost I guess
you can do that.  But its just not how most of the SE-R folks
like to do it.  It's what seperates us from the rest of the
monkeys in hondas and other cars.

You won't see Mike or Rob recommending you or helping you to do
soemthing that they don't think is correct.  They don't want you
blowing up your car.  Mike and Rob would take it to heart if
they blew up your car telling you the wrong thing.
