Response to 2002 2nd Gear "thunk"

If you guys need to make this shift "smoother" allow the rpms to drop
further.  Patrick, you mention pulling left, I am sure that in
concentrating on doing this you are taking longer to shift.  The ROM
drop between 1st and 2nd is almost 1600 rom and with the 27lb flywheel
that takes a little bit of time.  When trying to drive smoothly, just
take your time and allow the engine rpm to better match the
tranny/drivetrain rom adn the shift will be seamless.
